Microneedling
Single Session: £85 | + Dermaplaning: £100 | 3-Month Course (3 Sessions): £240 | 6-Month Course (6 Sessions): £465
Microneedling is a minimally invasive clinical procedure that uses ultra-fine needles to create controlled, microscopic punctures in the top layer of the skin. This process triggers the body’s natural wound-healing response, stimulating the intense production of fresh collagen and elastin.
Each session involves a double cleanse, light extractions, your customised microneedling procedure, and a finishing Cosmacure Treatment Mask to calm and hydrate the skin.
This treatment is highly effective for structural skin improvements, designed to reduce fine lines, improve overall skin tone, and significantly minimise the appearance of acne scars. By encouraging cellular renewal, microneedling promotes natural healing, resulting in smoother, firmer, and healthier skin over time.
To achieve the best structural improvements, we typically recommend a dedicated course of 3 to 6 sessions. Because microneedling triggers your skin’s natural healing cascade, it is essential to allow your skin time to build fresh collagen and cellular networks. We advise pairing this treatment with a consistent, medical-grade skincare routine to nourish the skin during the recovery phase, which significantly enhances the long-term results of your clinical course.
Dermaplaning can be added to any microneedling session for £100 total, gently removing dead skin cells and peach fuzz beforehand to enhance product absorption and give a smoother treatment base. See our Dermaplaning page for more on the science and benefits of this add-on.
Pre-Care Instructions
To ensure your skin is perfectly prepped and to minimise any risk of irritation, please follow these guidelines prior to your visit to the clinic:
- 7 Days Before: Discontinue the use of any strong active ingredients and exfoliating products, including Retinol (Vitamin A), AHAs (e.g. Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid etc...), and BHAs (Salicylic Acid).
Avoid unprotected sun exposure and sunbeds. We cannot treat sunburned skin. - 14 Days Before: Do not undergo any facial waxing, threading, or laser hair removal in the treatment area.
- Please Inform Us: Let us know if you have a history of cold sores, a history of keloid scarring, are currently taking or have recently taken Roaccutane (isotretinoin), or are using any prescription topical medications.
- On the Day: Please arrive with a clean face, free of makeup if possible.
After-Care Protocols
Proper aftercare is critical for achieving the best results and protecting your skin while its cellular networks regenerate. For 2–5 days after treatment, the treated area may experience tenderness, redness, tightness, or dryness.
- Touching the Skin: Do not pick, scratch, or aggressively rub the treated area.
- Skincare: Strictly NO products to be applied for 24 hours after treatment aside from the serum you will be provided. Make sure your serum is applied and fully absorbed into the skin.
To maximise your results, please follow this routine for at least 14 days after your treatment:
- The First 24 Hours: Avoid make-up entirely and steer clear of chlorine, including pools and hot tubs.
- The First 24–48 Hours: Avoid the gym and intense exercise.
- For 3–5 Days: Do not submerge the treated area in a chlorine pool or hot tub.
- For at Least 5 Days: Avoid skincare products containing acids or retinol — stick to a gentle cleanser.
- For 7 Days: Avoid exfoliation or scrubs, facial waxing, and excessive heat such as steam rooms, saunas, or sunbeds. Avoid unprotected sun exposure and always wear SPF 50.
- For 2 Weeks: Avoid dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many treatments will I need to see results?
While a single treatment will boost skin radiance, structural improvements to deep tissue texture and acne scarring require cumulative therapy. Significant, long-term improvements are typically achieved through a dedicated course of 3 to 6 sessions spaced several weeks apart, allowing your skin time to build fresh collagen and cellular networks.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime varies depending on the depth of the treatment. For microneedling, you may experience tenderness, redness, tightness, or dryness for 2 to 5 days. Full aftercare instructions and recovery protocols are provided at every appointment to ensure your skin heals beautifully.
Does the treatment hurt?
We prioritise your comfort throughout the entire process. While you may feel a slight vibrating or scratching sensation, it is generally very well tolerated. The treatment is minimally invasive, and we continually monitor your comfort levels during your session.
Are the results long-lasting?
The new collagen and elastin produced by your body provide long-lasting improvements. However, because your skin continues to naturally age, we recommend a maintenance session every 3 to 6 months after completing your initial clinical course to preserve your enhanced skin texture.
